M'thew is a very strong and kind man, he knows how to lead and how to follow, but personally he prefers to lead, he has a strong Leadership style, but he isn’t a cruel Leader, but he does push his Wing, but he only wants to make sure that none of them make mistakes that could hurt themselves, cost them their lives, hurt someone else, or cost someone else their lives.
He has a strong love for Tillie even though he became her Husband when she was so young, but he did it to protect the young girl who is the All Dragons Candidate, he has loved her all of her life and was happy when she was able to get away from Deep Valley Weyr and join him.
History: Not too much is known about M'thew’s history, except that he was born the oldest of a set of mirror triplets his Brothers being Weyrleader A'drew Rider of Ebony Garenth who is younger than him and Wingleader M'cus Rider of Teal Darefth also younger. At the age of 16 the very day the 3 of them turned 16 all 3 Brothers impressed M'thew upon a handsome Crater Dragon, A'drew upon a handsome Ebony Dragon, and M'cus upon a handsome Teal Dragon.
The 3 Brothers went through Weyrling Training together, when it came time for learning their recognition points they drilled each other hard ensuring they would all survive, all 3 passing with flying colors.
A month after they graduated from Weyrling Training M'thew went to Deep Valley Weyr as requested by Weyrwoman Traven and Weyrleader J'don where he Married their newborn Daughter Tillie the moment she was born, but when she was 3 hours old he had to sadly leave the family as he was ordered to go on Search.
Not too much is known after that, only that at 16 Tillie joined M'thew at Moon Star Weyr and then they went to Christmas Weyr after the Weyr was finished being built, M'thew transferring as a Wingleader and Tillie who had yet to impress as a Master Healer.
