Weyr Ranks Needed/Wanted:
Jr. Weyrwomen – these are women who ride Queen or Jr. Queen Dragons who have finished Weyrling Training; we need some of these right now we have no limit and no restrictions on Dragon Color
Jr. Weyrleader's – there are 2 meanings of this title they are either male Dragonriders whose Dragon has mated with the Queen or Jr. Queen Dragon of a Jr. Weyrwoman; or a male Dragonrider who rides a Queen Dragon or a Jr. Queen Dragon; we need some of these right now right now we have no limit; there are no restrictions on Jr. Weyrleader's the regular way or the Queen/Jr. Queen Rider way
Dragonriders – these are men and women who ride a Dragon who have finished their Weyrling Training whose Dragon isn’t a Queen Dragon or Jr. Queen Dragon or whose Dragon hasn’t mated the Weyrwoman’s Dragon or a Jr. Weyrwoman’s Dragon; we need plenty of these right now; we have no limits right now on these; they are either referred to as a Regular Dragonrider if he or she rides a Dragon that isn’t listed in our Main Dragon Colors; or a Main Dragonrider if he or she rides a Dragon that is listed in our Main Dragon Colors
Candidates – these are young people hoping to impress a Dragon when the first Earth-Born Dragon Clutch is laid and hatches; no limit on these either gender is welcome
Weyrlingmaster/Weyrlingmistress – of course if we are going to have Weyrling's one day we do need someone to train them, there is no limit on the gender, and right now no restriction on color the Weyrlingmaster or Weyrlingmistress rides
Assistant Weyrlingmaster/Weyrlingmistress – of course the Weyrlingmaster or Weyrlingmistress can’t train Weyrling's by himself or herself so of course we are also looking for Assistant Weyrlingmasters and/or Assistant Weyrlingmistress’; there is also no restriction right now on what color the Assistant rides
Candidatemaster/Candidatemistress – of course with Candidates we do need someone to train them and prepare them to stand for the Hatching; they don’t need to be a Dragonrider, but he or she can be a Dragonrider of any color
Assistant Candidatemasters/Assistant Candidatemistress’ – of course like with our Weyrlingmaster or Weyrlingmistress; the Candidatemaster or Candidatemistress can’t train all the Candidates by himself or herself; so we do need some Assistants; they don’t need to be a Dragonrider, but he or she can be a Dragonrider of any color
Wingleaders – even though no longer living on Pern we still have Wing’s which help around our new planet and of course we still train in Threadfall Practice through computer simulations so we need Wingleaders to lead our Wings. They are still traditionally Bronze Dragonriders, but some Brown Dragonriders can be Wingleaders
Wingseconds – of course our Wingleaders can’t work alone with leading their Wings we do need plenty of Wingseconds to help them; each Wing has 2 Wingseconds each
Wingthirds – of course still our Wingleaders and Wingseconds can’t work alone with leading their Wings so of course we have to have Wingthirds to help with leading the Wings, there are as well 2 in each Wing
Wingriders – of course these Riders are the rest of the bulk of each Wing, they are though trained to take lead of the Wing if something happens to the higher ranks of the Wing or if they show the aptitude to take over Leadership if say the Wingleader is injured
Headwoman/Headman – this person is in charge of the running of the lower caverns making sure our Weyrfolk are fed and he or she makes sure everything runs smoothly and helps decide what will be served for each meal
Assistant Headwoman/Headman – this person serves directly under the Headwoman or Headman he or she is the Assistant to them ensuring that the orders are followed to the letter and nothing is missed or misplaced in the Lower Caverns.
Lower Caverns Staff – these are the rest of the people who work in the Lower Caverns making sure the things are done that are supposed to be done from the words of the Headwoman, Headman, Assistant Headwoman, and/or Assistant Headman; some work in the Nursery and other places
Ridden Phoenix Riders – of course when the 9 Weyr’s left Pern there were some adult Ridden Phoenix Rider’s that left with them, they are more than welcome to be applied for with no restrictions on colors
Phoenix Rider Hopefuls – these are a lot like the Dragon Candidates, however these people are hoping to impress a Ridden Phoenix, but they are welcome to be a Dual-Candidate or a Multi-Candidate
Wherhandler’s – of course when we came to Earth we brought many Wher’s and their handler’s along, we have many open and there are no color restrictions
Wherhopeful’s – again like the Dragon Candidates and Phoenix Rider Hopeful’s these people are hoping to impress a Wher; of course they are welcome to be a Dual Candidate or a Multi-Candidate
Weyrbrats – these are the children born at the Weyr, no matter what their bloodlines are; we are accepting Weyrbrats, there are no age restrictions or gender restrictions
